Hey everyone, This is my first post, but after seeing Halestorm last night, it won't be my last! Wow is all I have to say. I posted the following on the Evanescence message board, but figured I would re-post it here... Wow, I am officially a life-long Halestorm fan!! What an amazing set last night in Des Moines! When Lzzy first started to sing before they came out, everone was looking around like, "Wow, where is this amazing voice coming from?" I was blown away from that point forward. I thought the whole band had a great energy and only wished they could have played longer. I made my way back to the autograph/CD area, which was chaos. There were so many people waiting in what was supposed to be a line that I ended up not being able to enjoy much of Flyleaf's set, but I did get my EP autograph and a chance to chat with the band for a second or two. I went back up during Shinedown's set and they were STILL signing so I got my two posters signed as well. The only word I have to describe them is sincere. They seemed so grateful we were there and really took my compliments to heart. What a great band and great people!!! Oh yeah, the drum circle rocked!!!! I'm going to try to attach a couple pics from the show and one of me and the band.

You guys were amazing...Lzzy, the way your voice just rang on that It's Not You.... gave me chills. I've never heard anybody hold a note that well and that long without losing pitch. I could actually hear the spin of the note in your voice. You guys are great performers. You guys rocked, when you all played the drums in the middle of you set....OMG!!! I'm in love.....seriously....my friends and I are life long fans now. Can't wait til we get to see you guys play again....It's definetly an experience I was to relive.
Wow, well let me say. I do agree with these people every bit of it. After seeing that show I actually am practicing on my singing. Well to an extent that I can. But my big question is, i show were you able to hold those notes as well as you did. What kinda practice did you have to do to hit those. Over all the show was great, you were great, and I hope that you guys will come back soon. Cause let me tell you the other 2 people that posted and I will not miss one of your shows here. You guys rock, hope you have fun on your tour.
Great pics, Kawgirl. Looks like you had a blast!I met the band back in November and they were all SO sweet! Very humble! I cant wait to see them in Tampa and Orlando!!

Have fun at both shows! I wish I could catch another one, but I'll just have to hope Halestorm liked Des Moines enough to come back sometime soon!

I saw those pics- they're great! Nice job! I checked out the rest of the concert pics on your site as well- they look good! If you ever want the help of an ambitious college student who loves going to concerts, writing, and photography, let me know!!

I just thought I would post a pic of my poster and CD cover I got signed. I got mats cut for them and then bought a couple frames. The empty space in the smaller frame is for my ticket stub- I don't currently have it but will put it in there once I do. Thanks again Halestorm for an amazing show!!
