Yeah, the boards did kind of die down. We'll just have to get more people on then!

well...the fan base stopped growing rapidly with each new show...

now it's up to us to keep the boards alive! :-p

This is in-response the "the crow". No disrespect, but what the hell do you mean by the fan-base stopped growing rapidly? Sure this message board has been slowing because there is SO much more halestorm on the other sites. The band is connecting with their fans on so many new levels now. Myspace, The chats, the podcast etc...heck, the band still gets on here and posts. As far as i'm concerned, this is still a home base. But! The Fan Base is still growing and reaching out beyond this board. Spread the word brother. Since the last tour numbers of fans have increased by the thousands. These kids are my favorite and i know they are yours too...sorry if i sounded aggitated.. i'm passionate about my halestorm.

I think all he was saying was that because there aren't any shows, they're not gaining the hundreds of fans a night that they were when they were touring. I see nothing malicious about that comment at all.

Oh..ok...I'm sorry. I get a little obsessed sometimes. Yeah... when they gonna tour again. Can't wait for the new album! Again, i apologize if i offended any of you.

You know that is often the problem with message boards. Since you are not seeing each other face to face; you do not know with what tone or emotion the words are written and often we can misinterpret by reading in our own emotions. I thought the same thing you did Blue until I re-read the post. No harm done. I appreciate your passion that we all share for this band, and I think you handled it well in either case by immediately retracting your statement once you saw it in a different lite. I have found the people here to be extremely decent and tollerable compared to other message boards; which is exactlly the opposite from what you would expect from a bunch of hard rockers. I think that is a testament to the quality of fans that follow Halestorm!! And to the positive attitude generated by Lzzy and the boys.....and of course you too mom!!

Ya know what... you guys indeed ARE amazing. A new breed of fan/family. I am blown away by the passion you have for OUR passion. Well you see there? It's because you care so much about us Lzzy that we care back. I've always worn my heart on my sleave, but it doesn't do any good if there aren't others there to receive and re-ciprocate the emotions. Your lyrics touch our souls; the bands music fires our emotions, and our hearts connect; that's what makes this band and their fans so special. We rock!! And thanks Jen; you're a sweetie.

Lzzy... It goes without saying that I love all of you dearly. It's been a pleasure getting to know each of you and being able to spend time with friends that actually care. I know this is gonna be a wild ride and I'm in with y'all. So I'm gonna end this here before I get all sappy and we end up hugging wildly and crying! ha ha
