I speak for the band and crew when I say that the out-pouring of emails and messages has been overwhelming! Thank you, so much, to all who have shared their personal stories of time spent with Eugene, and those who just took the time to contact us and send condolences. It's been a hard week for the band. Eugene died last Monday from a fall at a Hotel in SD. He was single handedly the most amazing person (beside the HS members) that I have ever met... and I considered him one of my best friends. As did all the HS band members.

"Crew" on the road, are a unique and tight breed. Eugene was the first to adopt me into that world... and he not only made me feel apart of it, from day one... but taught me so much that I didn't know. He and I spent many an hour just talking.... sometimes we were venting about shit, and sometimes we were just being silly and having fun together. He was an old soul in a young body. He was unlike anyone... so amazing and wonderful. Always putting others ahead of himself... and willing to do anything for anybody. We never had to ask him to tech for us, when in need... he just knew and did it.

The best story to share is about the "ballsack print" on our RV wall!!! Eugene actually wanted to put a print of his ballsack on Jeremy's head (our tech on sno-core tour) while he was sleeping, but the bandmates were successful in talking him out of it. (They figured Jeremy would wake up during the process and start swinging!!!)

Anyway, thank God, Eugene took our stamp inkpad and put his ball print on the wall of our RV... because as weird as it may sound... that is something that we can keep of him. !LOL! And trust me, the band has already said they will cut that portion of the wall out if they get rid of the RV and take it with them to the new vehicle!!! (Love these guys!!! !!!LOL!!!)

Eugene will be missed by everyone who knew him for the rest of our lives. The world is just not a bright as it was when he was in it. I wish everyone knew him, and could understand the great loss we have suffered. Especially Seether, and Shaun in particular. We feel so badly for both Shaun and his little sister... and of course, for their parents who have to bury a son. (Just not something you can get your head around.)

Rest in peace my dear friend... I hope we will see each other again, somewhere beautiful.

Eugene sounds like he was a great guy. Im sorry ur friend passed away & I send love to Haletorm & Seether at this time of sadness.

So sorry to hear about Eugene. From what it sounds like he was a great guy that was taken too soon.... My thoughts are with you all.
