So far, luckily, Halestorm is not in the path of any of the many wildfires happening, now, in Southern California. Although, we are ready to go at any minute if the unthinkable happens!!! We had a very close call a few months ago with a fire directly behind the apartments... so we know that anything can happen at anytime here.

It is mind blowing to watch the news and see just how powerful these fires are. There are thousands of acres lost and many, many buildings and homes. One person has died and I believe it's in the hundreds who are injured (including, firefighters, of course.)

Just amazing!!! Very frightening!!!

We are seeing that 250,000 + people have been evacuated and over 100,000 acres are gone. Right now, there are over 30 homes on fire in just one of the fires... there are now 7 fires in 4 counties burning... Los Angeles county is getting hit the hardest, followed by San Diego county. The governer just declared a "state of emergency" for LA county. We are packing the RV!

There are now hundreds of homes lost and hundreds of thousands of acres burned. There is a fire close to Magic Mountain that just started about an hour ago!!! It's totally nuts here!!!
