I went on Project Playlist and searched for Halestorm. After months of no matches, I came across one. The voice hardly sounds like Lzzy, it's not even a live version of "It's Not You" like on the One and Done cd. Tell me what you think:

Could we be getting a leak from the album?

i just listened to the song. that isn't a new recording of "It's Not You". a friend of mine won a raffle at Halestorm's NYE show a few years ago and got a 5 song cd that included this recording on it (minus that guitar intro that doesn't really sound like it's part of the song).

don't go getting me all excited about new music like that! HAHA!

I don't think I've heard it before, but chook, I'm sure you're right! It's kinda cool to hear "It's Not You" as more of studio version than the live version. I like them both! Aaaaaand I'm very ready to hear some of the new songs!!

Since there are fewer on this site, than on myspace... I'm letting you guys in on a secret. Tonight, at midnight, the band is putting a new song on the myspace page. Took months to co-ordinate with the label, but finally got the go ahead. Hopefully, now that they said OK to one, they will allow much more to be uploaded, quicker, from now on??? You won't be able to download it, the band tried to convince the powers that be to let that happen, but have to wait for the album to release first. You guys understand... gotta make a living with the music, so right now, free downloads are gonna be scarce. But, at least they will have something new to listen to.

BTW... I'm 90% positive the song will go up at midnight "East Coast" time!!! (That's 9pm for those of us on the West Coast!)

And... this did not come out of Bay Studios, but was recorded via the band. (I believe it's a live version)

I know the band appreciates everyone's patience as they go thru the recording process. It's been long, but now we can see the light at the end. YAY!!!!

I got my email about the new Halestorm song. I'm SO excited to hear at least bits of the new cd. If that's even the case. Thanks for the replies everyone!
