Wow .... that's about all I could muster after Halestorm's set in Atlanta on Friday. Having only heard the clips on the official site, I had only an inkling of what to expect from this band. But I never expected to be as blown away as I was, and that's ALWAYS a good thing. LZZY, AreJay, John & Joe are an incredible group of amazing musicians who put together such a great sound, with killer lyrics & some bad-ass vocals to boot. I only wish I knew the names to the songs played that weren't on the EP (setlist post, anyone?).

When LZZY said the band would be hanging at the FYE booth after their set, I zipped down from my balcony seat, bought a copy of their EP & waited patiently to tell these guys (and gal) just how amazing they were. To anyone in the band reading this, you may remember the crazy dude in the Alcatraz hoodie pimpin' my hometown of Knoxville

I went on to meet & talk to the band a couple more times over the course of the night. In the end I ended up having a copy of the EP, a promo photo & SnoCore tour shirt (the white long-sleeve one) all signed by Halestorm. Not a bad haul for one night, eh?

Well, that's all I can say for now. To Halestorm, continue rocking the house down each & every night; and hopefully soon, we'll be rocking together in Knoxville

In between "Shakers" and "Takes My Life" some Florida shows also got "The Hand" as well.

Grrrrr...That's always been my favorite song of theirs live. At one show in Maine, people were actually hardcore moshing to it.

I could see moshing to that...something about it that just really gets ya going!
