The stream of "Takes My Life" is sadly not working right now on myspace. So, 2 questions really.

A. Is this merely a temporary glitch, or something feared to be more final?

B. Is this going to be the first release by Atlantic or the airwaves, and if so, this live version(?) or are they waiting for the studio cuts to hit the waves? The live version has my vote...so far, hahaha.

This is a superb track, and I hope I'm right on the hunch. The hook, "And it's fine, 'til someone takes my life", is just infectious. Though I have not heard many tracks yet, the past 2 posted demo's aside, this one got my ear instantly as something a bit more substantial. The guitar work rips on this, and the vocal/guitar duet is pulled uff perfectly. (Not as easy when the same person isn't doing both parts) When they both build to their howling crescendo, well let's just say this could be one of the moments rock fans talk about for awhile, it's that noteworthy. Love the lovetorn staggering 6/8 groove, the start/stop, rough/sweet oppositions, the vocal work is supreme, great hook, a hit all around!!!

But, now it's gone

I'm thinking of seeing a show! Maybe that one at H.O.B. in A.C. in Dec., yes that might be fitting, a good one ya figure? (i.e. will you play a good long set?)

The answer to number one is "temporary glitch", or you had it fixed really fast, but buffering and playing once again!

We are not sure if the Live EP will be released directly to radio or not... but Halestorm will have the Live EP available by the end of this month (fingers/toes crossed) and you should be able to get if through this site and at shows. Once we have the discs in our possession, we will announce it here and let everyone know the many ways to grab one! Thanks so much for the interest!!!

BTW... Myspace has glitches almost everyday, ya just have to wait it out when they happen. It's most likely due to the massive traffic on that site!
