I went to the drive well sleep carefully premier on June 10th with my girlfriend and was quite impressed with the film. I kept telling my g/f that we were gonna see the band or at least a member the whole night and to my delight as we seated ourselves in the back of the theatre i was asked by a older man to save a seat for his daughter because she was in the bathroom. That man was no other than ben gibbard's dad. At that moment i looked in front of me and the whole band (sans Chris Walla) took a seat. I was absolutely floored with excitement, (not to mention nervousness that i was in the wrong area) that i couldn't even say anything. Regardless, it was unbelievable and i will never forget it.

I would have made obnoxious comments about the bands habbits.

i was there too, i was like two feet away from jason mcgerr when he opened the side door for smoosh... i was in the balcony so i didnt see the rest of the guys.
