I don't know where to post this, but I re-read an interview of the decemberists (just for fun!) haha, that the guy who interviewed them also interviewed death cab for a previous issue and it said that they did a political song before (in plans) but they didn't put it on the album because it didn't fit in with the 'personal' tone of the album.

Just wondering if you've ever heard of a political song from death cab? :]

I think that song was "Two Fifty," which appears on Chris Walla's politically charged album, Field Manual. Walla has stated that two songs on there were previously going to be Death Cab songs, and that that was one of them.

And the only politically charged song I can think of is Underwater just because of the sound clips in it.

I can't wait for the new Decemberist album...

SPeaking of interviews, I read an interview that said Ben Gibbs looks like the actor Rain Wilson, but I think that Colin Meloy looks a lot more like him. What do ya'll think?

A lot of people think Gibbard and Meloy are the same person/look exactly the same. I've heard that many, many times. I don't think either of them looks like Rainn Wilson. That would be Mr. Harmer.
