Anyway, it is a semi good idea, though the videos aren't the most interesting in the wordl. i hope for another directions style dvd
It was a legit comment. I didn't think the videos were very good. I can disagree. I didn't call the poster stupid, just the videos. I wish they would have interviewed the people afterward instead of just showed them listening to the songs.

These videos were intended to play out before the album leaked. So that day by day you'd all hear bits of each song. It was really just meant to be a simple gift for the fans, to give them a chance to hear a bit of each song before the album released. Just like doing an 8 minute version of the video. That's all it was intended to be - something for you. Didn't work out that way. I understand not liking them, which is totally valid. But the way some of you communicate here is dispiriting.
I know what you mean, the thing is that since buzz started building around the upcoming album the board has been invaded by people who really do not have any intentions besides stirring things up.
I, for one, really appreciated the (i think it was 3) videos we got to see before the leak... it certainly build some excitement (especially hearing a bit of Bixby, which had sounded amazing live), and i didn't expect Death Cab pulling a stunt like that so kudos for that. But yeah, it got ruined

I thought it was a really cool idea, and unfortunately its almost inevitable for albums not to leak today.

otakuhouse, sir, dont find this dispiriting... ppl go off on the boards sometimes... the video for the song was wonderful... and the peeks were awesome, it made all of us long to here the studio of bixby when we first saw the Brooklyn clip... thanks! and please dont take some stupid comments to heart
