don't know if this was asked before but I was just wondering why the transatlanticism cover art has a crow tangled in red string?:]

It might have something to do with the fact that one of the main themes throughout the album is not being able to reach the ones you love due to geographical differences... like birds, people have the ability to pretty much go anywhere we want (by planes trains and roads), but with all of our ties and responsibilities, we are unable to get up and go. The red string represents all of those things that hold people back in (long distance) relationships from meeting.

That's been my interpretation of it, at least.

I totally agree with you Steven.

The Orange means something also in my eyes.

Orange usually represents desire, sexual passion & pleasure etc. So Orange + Steven's theory = representation of a desire/passion for someone somewhere they are tied down/can't get to.

I hadn't put any thought into the orange color! That's pretty good.
