To make this thread complete—for now—I’ll throw the alternate version here:

I don't think he uses a capo. I tabbed it as if he didn't in the other thread before I realized this was here.

You’re probably right about him not using a capo. Ben uses a capo constantly, and it sounded like it might be on that part of the neck, so I just threw one on when learning it. Listening today, I can see that he might be playing it without. Either way still works nonetheless. p.s. I've added the alternate version to my above post. |

Nice job on the tab Replacement.

Thanks for this!

I wonder what's with Death Cab and capos. I need to get me one.
By the way, insane job, sounds perfect (with the exception of the capo-ing of course). |

Yeah, they certainly love those capos. It seems like half the songs on the new record use one. As for the above music examples, you're probably better off sticking to the non-capo version. It's probably the more correct version of the two... though you can never be 100% sure. |

I play the ukulele and this song sounds absolutely fabulous on the uke. I also am a singer and the key of 'C' arraingement works well for me. Thanks so much!!

you should record and post your version! I'll post my jazz ballad arrangement of it if I ever finish it, too. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Steven., (ultrautsukushii) |
