i definitely think so. actually you bring up a good point tchdownboy. in my opinion plans is going to be pretty big, i mean with death cab everywhere over itunes and advertisements through newspapers and through radio people are going to obviously notice that this band is worthy to listen to and already you can see so many new people discovering death cab. ok now im rambling on about nothing but the point is i do think death cab is going to break the top 10

I think it could make the top 10 but I worry that it might be a longshot.

i guess also another question is that if it is in the billboard top 10, is that a good thing or bad thing? does everyone want death cab to succeed or will you be put off by the fact that everyone would know about them?

like many have said, if the music is the same and they still keep their style (as in not too big of a change) then i dont mind how big they get. i mean im glad theyll be getting more bang for their buck haha. i mean its about time they get the recognition they deserve for making such wonderful music. my only problem is the shows. i just hope the people at the shows dont turn out to be super lame

It's somewhat a given. I mean, there are already some lame people at Death Cab shows right now. Increase the fanbase, and you increase those lame people, plus a few more, since mainstream just sucks Smiler

WHO CARES IF IDIOTS ARE AT THE CONCERTS TAKING YOUR SPOT IN THE MERCH LINE?!?!

at least the band is making money, which is unarguably one reason why they are touring. theye deserve every penny and more.

as for plans being huge,

i thought transatlanticism wouldve done much better than it did. it has alot more energy than plans does.

i dunno, i thought about this today when i went into my record store as was browsing the top ten albums, the thought occured to me, what about august 30th?

i reckon, with a fair wind, it might break the top ten.

i think it might be big but i dont know about breaking the billboard top 10....

i personally think it would be good for the band if they got more money because they do deserve it. i just dont want them to go too mainstream because the majority of people who listen to mainstream don't appreciate really really great music and dcfc deserves to be appreciated.

i love dcfc and i and any other true fan would stick with them no matter how big they got. end of story.
