DCFC played a 3.5 minute version of Possess Your Heart on Letterman last night. I was very impressed. I feel given that Narrow Stairs was in large part tracked live, its going to translate a lot better live on TV than songs like Soul Meets Body did.

Dave clearly dug it too given his reaction afterwards. Unlike Leno who pretends to be impressed with everything, its usually pretty obvious when Letterman actually likes a band or movie.

Letterman kicks leno ass... is this up on the net yet?

It's kinda strange to think that this was their first letterman performance.

Ok it was, because i wasn't sure? I tried scrolling through all the late night tv appearances i had seen and i couldn't remember them doing letterman. Was it for Plans?

EDIT: Oh right, "Crooked Teeth"! Of course.

Damn, that performance kicked ass. They sounded totally tight and Ben's vocals were completely on. Miles of improvement over their late night performances promoting Plans. SO why was there no board topic about this before it happened?

Here is the performance for those, like me, that missed it!

I find the band often misses it during on-air TV performances. This sounds just great!
