does anyone know what type/model piano that is used by chris and ben on stage when they play live? if anyone could help, that would be great, thanks

I think they use a roland. I know they use rhodes sometimes. Nick plays a minikorg for lightness. Walla has a smaller red one that that he puts above the roland. I recently got a roland rd-170 and found that some of the sounds are the same.

yeah, the smaller red one is a nord electro 2, and yeah i was talking about the other one, the one you think is a roland. originally, i thought it was a rhodes, but i've begun to drift away from that idea. thanks for your help james

Those nords have a great sound and are really popular for touring/stage performances. Everyone had one back at school. I've never been close enough to the stage right to see, but I don't think that the other one is a rhodes either.

i'll ask walla if he ever goes online again. He's always helpful with explaining their gear.
