Mates of State was featured on the front page of MySpace. They're one of my favorite bands, so to see em get the recognition they deserve is pretty sweet. Maybe they'll be the next DCFC and go major or somethin like that.

I like them. I don't think they'll ever go major, and I hope they don't. I saw them with Death Cab in '06, and I love the set up they have. The great noises two people on keyboards and drums is amazing.

I'm not sure this belong in the Death Cab-specific subforum, but whatever.

Mates of State are indeed great. I saw them open for Death Cab in '06 also, and will see that again in...11 days

Sorry for posting it on a DCFC forum.. two reasons.

1) there's no other forum to post it on.

2) I'm so used to being a member on the Dillinger Escape Plan forum, where we talk about EVERYTHING known to man.
