Okay, I'm not sure if this is a DCFC song or just a Ben Gibbard song, but I can hear it in my head being sung by Ben Gibbard.

The only lyrics that I'm pretty sure on are "pub night". I think he sings a phrase like "at every pub night".

It's driving me nuts! I just went through my whole DCFC collection and I can't seem to find the song.

Any help would be appreciated.

I can't remember if it's acoustic or not. It may be acoustic or light electric guitar.

I've tried the song lyric websites and haven't had any luck.

There is another lyric that i have stuck in my head now that I'm 99% sure is from the same song. It's "we drove to the hills". The only part of it I'm not sure about is the word hills. But I'm pretty sure is says something that sounds like that.

Any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

OMG!!!

It isn't a death cab song. It's Velveteen. I guess my brain was trying to make it better by remembering it with Ben singing it.
