Nope. They do this all the time on NPR. Free live broadcasts of quality musicians playing shows. I've heard Death Cab, The Decemberists, and Bright Eyes and if you look on their site there are recordings of all, or at least some, of the past performances for download. No catch.

how would one go about ripping this concert?

i have software that records everything running through my sound card or whatever, so i can record streaming audio. but it'd be a bit of a pain to do the whole show, i was going to do the songs that i didnt have recorded, or the ones that werent the best quality recordings.

just record the whole stream, how hard is that?

then i'd have to go through and seperate every track. whatever ill do it.
