You're lucky!! If they would've been there 6 months later I would've been there as well. Lets all just... err.. Pray they'll do another tour early next year. I'm sure most of you wouldn't mind.. But I'm guessing they'll be over here in Europe and I'll miss them again. God damnit.

...yes. But I think I know what meandthesea means. Rocketown was amazing Oct. 26 of this past year... I was the girl at the very front of the stage.. leaning against it... and afterwards, I got to jump up on the stage and sit with Chris as he signed people's stuff.. with my Sharpie. And I got to give him the present I'd 'made' for him. ..and we took pics, and everything was wonderful and personal. And that was my point when *I* had said that I wish they were playing at Rocketown again. It was more... personal. And more oppertunities to speak with the guys. (lol, I hung out with Nick when he went on a cig. break during soundcheck..) But after last years show, I wasn't surprised to read that they weren't playing at the same venue. Ben had some problems with Rocketown, I heard...

Any clue when this will happen? Yeah carmela I was shocked they're coming back at ll, I knew they wouldn't do rocketown, Ben complained about not being able to smoke or drink, broke his amp and acted like an ass yelling at his stage crew and and then running on the bus as soon as the show was over, plus the sound wasn't very good.

But the thing about venues with seating is its so unpersonal, it's like you're watching a movie or something, I HATE IT

are you kidding? of course they will. i went to their show towards the end of july and they played "soul meets body" and "crooked teeth." plus, part of going to a concert means hearing new, sometimes unreleased songs by that artist. it would be boring if they just played every song off transatlanticism.
