Everyone I hear is saying oh I am so disappointed that they didn't play song x off of (Plans, Trans, and.....Automobiles, etc. You have to realize that they have to support their new album on the "Narrow Stairs" tour. I am sure the next US tour will consist of a wider selection of songs. Record companies pressure bands to play new songs so that the audience might here another song other than the single and be like "Oh I need to buy the record."
Yea well Something About Automobiles was by far their best album. And it is just so aggravating when you go to their concert and they don't play songs from Automobiles. I really wish they played President of Who? or Your Bump or Photos in a Museum or Fold to Triangles or Wine from a Clay Vase. I pray for the day that they play The Tits that Fired 1000 Canons.

I got your joke, Kyle, don't worry. But I don't think people have been complaining too much...maybe I haven't noticed. I mean, yeah we all want to hear stuff they don't play (myself included). But I think we all realize that their setlists actually do have quite a variety of songs. They don't, like some bands, only play songs from their most recent two albums. We know that. But when you go to a bunch of shows, you hope for old songs you haven't seen. It's more wishful thinking than complaining. But maybe I speak only for myself.
Oh and I doubt it's the record company making them play new songs. I'm pretty sure they want to play their new songs.

o yea because making fun of people for their puns/lack of dcfc knowledge is totally the best PR thing to do right before elections.
