who cares! I hate when people judge bands on how popular they are. Just because they have a larger fan base, and more mainstream people listen to them, doesn't mean the band has gone to crap. The music industry is so weird, its practically the only industry where mass success is frowned upon by fans and people.

I think it's been good that Death Cab's gotten more fans. They deserve it; they're talented and have made a number of good albums. When I think of people like Britney Spears and others who have gotten so much money based on image, suggestive dance moves, and not-too-much singing or song-writing talent, it kind-of makes me sick.
