i've been wanting to know this for a while, but thanks to the board administrators i wasn't confirmed for about six months but bless them for my account's sake, who all is ben majorly influenced by as far as writers and authors go? i see a lot of romanticism in his lyrics and of course modern writing as well. i'd just like to know some of his favorite writers.
i don't know if this was in a dicussion before, i apologize if so. |

Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde, and Woody Allen

isn't woody allen a director?
or is he both? |

He writes the movies, too. In every movie I've seen of his, his character is usually some kind of writer... so I guess he writes about himself being a writer. He's like a super writer haha. (ultrautsukushii) |

Woody Allen does write all of the movies he directs. And he's also written a couple of books. And I know that "Death of an Interior Decorator" is based on Allen's film, "Interiors." And Ben seems concerned a lot with death, same as Allen.

I've never heard of Ben being influenced by him. I'm wondering where fadedmagic found this information. I personally love Oscar Wilde.
And I've seen Interiors....Its interesting, listening to the song once you've seen the movie. Stutter-step to those slammin' gooves. |
