I was just wondering if there were people still in the fan club. If so, anything exciting happening over there? Answering any good questions? Any better perks, like perhaps a store?

it's still just as unfinished as it was before. and the store still isn't up yet.

theres a few news reports that you get that don't show up here and stuff usually shows up first, but thats all for now. One day I hope they get more over there that makes it more special.

I just joined because I freaked out when I heard death cab would be in my town and I wanted every advantage I could get for tickets.

I just renewed my membership and I got the exact same vinyl. What a waste. If I had known I wouldn't have wasted all that money, and it's a waste for them sending me something I already have. They also sent me another membership card with a new number on it, as well as the welcoming letter, so clearly they have no idea what they're doing.

Did anyone get that elusive "lithograph"?

I re-joined. It is funny that it's the same record. Hilarious.

Of course I haven't received anything since re-joining, but its only 9 weeks since I paid.

I think I waited about 20 weeks last time, and as I already have what they are sending there is no rush.

I only hope the lithograph is the same one that I got exclusively with the Insound pre-order of Narrow Stairs. That would be perfect.

what pisses me off the most is that i EMAILED the fan club to ask if it was the same vinyl, and no one ever replied.

I have a theory that the fanclub is run by a narcoleptic monkey... sometimes he just falls asleep for weeks and forgets to do things. Sometimes he just eats bananas for hours and stare vacantly at people's complaints in the inbox.

I would expect irate emails from narcoleptic monkeys for that slur on their organisational skills if I was you.

I kind of regret joining now because I paid (or, my mom paid) 40 dollars for a tshirt, a vinyl that I can't listen to, and the opportunity to get early concert tickets I could have waited 3 days for and gotten the same place in the pit (RIGHT in front of ben. stupid security guard kept getting in my way).
oh well.

I was part of it when it first started and it sucked. All my stuff was late.
