Well then i guess i'm being an ass here. But that's what's so wonderful about sarcasm. Seriously though, everybody fucking hates that song - and if you love it and possibly Soul Meets Body you are not a "real death cab fan".

No, I agree with you. Although it gets a lot of hate from being so popular, it is a really great song that is overlooked in some ways.

... i guess it's sarcastic on some level as it's not a statement that i agree with, hence the mockery of it (by use of the ""'s), but i feel like some people here carry that opinion. The general dismissal of Plans is hard to overlook.

Which gets less love on the boards: "I Will Follow You Into the Dark" or "Flustered/Hey Tomcat!"?

A sophism of madness...

I agree with most of what you post, sir... but not this. I loves me some "Flustered/Hey Tomcat!". I wish more people who ventured into sound-art made it sound so damn good.

Little Fury Bugs takes the crown for me. The definition of slow-core guitar indie.

Nobody talks about sleep spent anymore, that's one of my favorite death cab songs. When people talk about old school death cab it's always facts or other tracks off planes.

Honestly I think that if that song wasn't on plans and wasn't a single and wasn't their most popular song, it would, even on these boards, be as highly thought of as Title and Registration or We Laugh Indoors.

Coney Island. Always been one of my favorite songs from DCFC. I love the whole feel of the lyrics.
