Why would you even want pre-sale tickets? I can't imagine they sell-out of Death Cab tickets in a day or something. They had to downsize a venue on the UK tour.
It's your funeral and it's fantastic.

yeah, they do sometimes. you just have to keep refreshing the page until the tickets are up, and you should get some decent ones. that's how I got pit tickets this summer.

Whatever you do, do NOT join Union Local! It is a total waste of money. I have been a member from the very start and it has been a disaster since day one.
The first year it took months to get our membership packages. The news was usually updated after the official site. There was one contest, I think. The message board is lame and a total bore. The exclusive Union Local shop still hasn't opened. It is absolutely ridiculous.
When my membership was up for renewal I wrote Nick and complained about everything. He had a word with management and things were better for a few weeks. I ended up renewing after getting a couple months free and a promise that things would improve. They haven't improved at all.
The shop still isn't open. It took nine months to get the renewal membership package. I only got it last week, after sending emails to every email address on the official site. The message board is on it's death bed.
Artist Arena has collected $30 per year from 4,000 people. That is $120,000 and they have done nothing with the money other than print up some very simple posters and had some patches made.
It is so bad that it makes me sad that it is even associated with DCFC. They deserve so much more.
I will never renew my subscription until Artist Arena has been fired, which I doubt will ever happen. I am sure they have some deal with the major label the band are on. I look forward to the day when all these massive labels have imploded, and bands can simply release their own work via the internet.

I actually didn't receive any award for being a bigger fan. I think the idea is that someone needs to pay for the stuff they include in the membership package. Of course, with Union Local that didn't happen according to plan. Excluding fans from presales or prioritizing based on money is odd, but I think it is done to keep scalpers from getting access to presales.
