Mines probably Bixby, followed by Cath and Grapevine Fires. I don't find myself listening to anything else, really...

I'd have to say Bixby Canyon Bridge. Then probably Grapevine Fires.

Bixby, Cath... and Grapevine Fires are great but Long Division should get more praise especially because of the energy Ben puts into the bridge.

no. Instrumentally, it had potential... but not in a death cab sense. The lyrics suck, and the song is so short that it screams 'we were running out of decent stuff to put on the album'. Why did they put it on there, anyways? Not only does it not add anything to the album as a whole, but it subtracts from the whole experience. Not to mention the fact that it nowhere near stands on its own.

grapevine fires/ cath/ bixby... not necessarily in that order. I kind of like you can do better on some level, just because it kind of frightens me to end up with someone like that, as well as pity and fear.

... also the other day I think I kind of get the song bixby just because of some events, and it made me appreciate the song a whole lot more. :]

My biggest problem with the song is that it sounds cheap. I could probably recreate it almost exactly with my ancient Yamaha keyboard. I don't think that the length shows that they were running out of ideas, some songs work best that way. I don't, however, know why they felt the need to add it. Musically, it doesn't fit.
