So they played IWPYH... no surprise, but then they started Cath... but they didn't show the song, just the intro. =/

Still, GREAT performance of IWPYH. Chris really did spectular, probably stood out the most. I daresay I liked it more than the album version.

What did you guys think?

i noticed that ben kinda messed up on the piano a few times. did anyone else notice? but it was still an amazing performance. i'm loving the shortened version. and nick on backup vocals is great.

...I loved the venue! I thought it would be another in-studio appearance. I also liked the fact that Mr. Kimmel promoted Narrow Stairs as the #1 album in America. Wow.

I still don't like the short version, but that was a damn good performance of it.

Yeah mum, I still can't believe it's the #1 album. That just seems so weird.

Yeah, not a fan of the short version either, but they really put themselves into it. What I meant by liking it better than the album version wasn't that I liked the shortened one. They just were more energetic live.

And yeah, I noticed how he messed up on the piano a couple times. No big. Anyone can make a mistake as small as that.

You can watch the performance here:

or here:

No luck in finding a video of Cath. It's supposed to be on the Kimmel site.

I know this is going to sound really rude, i'm a huge and long time fan of death cab but i'm starting to find it really really lame that the band's guitarist's mother posts on the message board.
