this song is seriously amazing. im not in the least bit disappointed. its so different and weird but its so them at the same time. i love the crescendo of the 4 minute intro and then he starts singing.

I've only listened to it once all the way through. Came back to the computer right away. But, wow. This was exactly what I was expecting. Everything Walla has said in interviews about this being raw and different is 100% accurate. Back to the good ol days of live in studio recording. Now there is dubbing, which was admitted to, but nothing comparable to the likes of Plans.

Only problem for me was that I was waiting for the build up to reach a climax or a crescendo. It did to an extent before the vocals come in. But it all felt like it was leading to something bigger, louder. I thought maybe the last minute would "readdress" the build up and finish it the way my mind wanted it to. I guess I'm getting too used to Sigur Ros build ups and climaxes.

Despite that, I absolutely love this song. An awesome indicator for the rest of the album.
