Are you allowed to bring drinks, food, bottles of wine, umbrellas into the venue tomorrow? Been looking around to try and find out and have found nothing.
Thanks! |

As far as I know, yes, you can. I've never seen a show there, but looking at the layout of the lawn, I think it's intended for that sort of thing (like Ravinia, up north).
Before you bring in anything, though, you should probably call them at 312-742-1168 and ask. It's a lot easier to do that, than haul all your stuff back to the car (or throw it out) when security says you can't bring it in. |

i was at the Wilco show last year and we had to sneak booze in. food was allowed, unopened liter of ginger ale (goes well with whiskey) was allowed...but they gave us shit for a water-filled nalgene...first suggesting we'd have to throw it out. after telling security to go f*ck themselves, we had to dump it out in order to carry it in. lame.
but, seriously, the real question is... what happens when it's a raging thunderstorm? there's no retractable roof and, well, it is made of metal. so, um, yeah...that might be a problem. |

The ginger-ale was closed. The water was not. I overheard at the Bend show (also an outdoor venue) that water must be sealed because they cannot tell whether it's water or vodka.
And I don't know how bad your thunderstorms are expected to be, but there was a bit of lightning at the Bend show, and there was no threat of cancellation. |
