Hi Ben, Christopher, Nick and Jason (a.k.a. Death Cab for Cutie)! Well, me and my friend noticed that you were coming to Sweden, but we also noticed that you were just visiting Arvika, which is in the western parts of Sweden and not Stockholm, which is the more populated area, and where me and my friend live. We'd really, really, really appreciate it if you came to Stockholm (and not with an age limit of 18+, please!), my friend in particular would be crying with joy as you guys make up her favorite band. We would love IF we could go to Arvika, but that would just be way too expensive. The ticket for the show costs around $100, the ticket to Arvika costs another $200 and then we'll have to live in a hotel as we don't know anyone there, which is another $200-300. If I wasn't a measly teenager I'd go and see your show no matter what, but now, well I have parents and they have expenses which won't allow them to give me 500-600 dollars to go to a festival on the other side of the country. So please Death Cab, come to Sweden!

First of all the band probably does not read these boards. Second of all you lucky bastards actually get a Death Cab concert on a tour that doesn't even include Finland or Denmark (in spite of the obvious free slot where Roskilde is this year)... i wouldn't count on any scandinavian city shows before the next extensive European tour in support of Narrow Stairs which will probably not be as festival oriented as the upcoming one is.

Hey Atom! Ben Gibbard here. I just wanted to let you know that we are considering your request, seeing as we have also received numerous letters and e-mails from fans in a similar situation to yours. While we cannot guarantee anything at this time, it will benefit you to read THIS, as it explains how we structure our tour and how we deal with people requesting tour changes in the forums.
