I'm sure the band will never return to this festival, thanks to the shameful crowd.
I was there, and i've never seen something like that...there was the worst kind of people. I'm sure it has been just a waste of time for the band! |

Can you specify what you mean by "shameful crowd"?

I dont really know what P.G. is talking about.
I was at the show, in the very front of the crowd. I didn't see any drug addicts. And the drunk people, yes there may be lots of drunks in a festivalcrowd, but is that a surprise for you? And if I should generalize about the crowd. I mostly saw young girls and indieguys with tight pants. |

Ok. What was the setlist? Was really bummed that Roskilde chose not to book them... (they do that a lot, just like they chose not to grab Leonard Cohen while he was here anyway).

In response to the first post in this topic I've got to say that I went to the Antwerp gig last night, and the crowd were "throwing" plastic inflatable seats around that they got for free when entering the venue, but some thought it would be a funny idea to throw these objects onto the stage, just a few though. Of course it's nothing horrible, but still, it shouldn't happen at all and I reckon real Death Cab fans are hoping that this will not mean they might skip Belgium the next time around...
On a brighter note : This was the first time I was able to see DCFC live, and it was absolutely brilliant, I loved it to bits. I hope they come back to Belgium on a yearly basis or so, but at a better venue (AB in Brussels for instance). Anyways, if anyone of the bandmembers would ever come here and read this : keep up the great work guys, absolutely an amazing experience to see you guys in action! |

P.G., where were you standing?
I was standing on the far right, almost in the front, and of course there were drunk people as well as sober people, but none that really did anything to mess up the show (oh, apart from some people singing awfully loud and out of tune during I Will Follow You...). Could you give an example of what they did? Anyways, great show (from where I was standing)! |
