Is it me or is Ben Gibbard always on the left(our) hand side when they play live?

.. just curious.

Ummm...yup, everytime I've seen them he has been.

that's a good point, i was just thinking about that the other day.

I prefer it this way. It adds balance, it's like he's the lead singer, but he's not in the middle, so all the attention isn't on him.

It's like, coldplay is basically chris martin and some hangers on.

he was on the left last night at the greek too.
(which is why i sat on the left, actually)

yeah. i think they always set up in the same positions.
but then again i haven't seen every single show ever.
but i've been to two. and every video or picture i see, they have the same set up

Don't most bands have their own arrangement that they keep the same at all shows?

he was on the left again tonight... as he was way back in november...

All seven times I've seen them it's always been the same stage setup. It's completely normal, most bands just find something they're comfortable with.
