I bought tickets to this show Mostly to see Ben play only to wait through the entire concert and he never came on? This was a big wast of $60 bucks, I want a refund but it seems impossible to get one! Does anyone know what happened, when I bought the tickets it clearly said he was on the bill but now when I search I cant find his name anywhere listed as playing. Even on the El Rey website I couldn't find his name. I would have never bought these if I had known he was not playing.
i was quite pissed as well...i don't think you'll be able to get a refund...i still enjoyed the show though...i checked a bunch of websites and most of them say "aimee mann with special guest ben gibbard" do you think that it was a mistake or that he just didn't show up ?
Greetings - I understand communication breakdowns occurred. Mann "people" were to have been notified that Ben couldn't do the show because of recording schedules. Somehow, sadly for all involved, key people must not have got the word. I bet those who bought tickets to see Ben left thinking their money was well spent anyway - Aimee Mann for Christmas!
