Hands down the best Death Cab show I've ever seen and possibly the best concert I've ever been to. They sounded brilliant and the setlist was insane.

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008
Bixby Canyon Bridge
The New Year
Why You'd Want to Live Here
Photobooth
Long Division
Grapevine Fires
A Movie Script Ending
Soul Meets Body
I Will Follow You Into the Dark
I Will Possess Your Heart
Cath...
No Sunlight
Company Calls
Crooked Teeth
The Sound of Settling
Marching Bands of Manhattan
-----
Your Bruise
Title and Registration
Your New Twin Sized Bed
Expo '86
What Sarah Said
Transatlanticism

Just typing that setlist out gave me shivers. I'll give a full review of the show tomorrow. I need to let the sheer amount of epic soak in.

*Edited because I was a little too excited last night Wink

I plan on going about 10 hours early or so. I'll have a group of friends meet me in line. They'd wait too but they have to work.

Yeah, I went about 6 hours before last time and got front row. I'm thinking 10 hours is even safer when it comes to Red Rocks. Who knows though, I might get lazy.

When was 'last time'? And how many people were there when you arrived?

When they played back to back at the Fillmore. I was the second person in line the first show and first in line the second show. The majority of people didn't show up until a couple hours before doors.

Red Rocks usually allows cameras as long as you don't use the flash.

i'm driving out from kansas to see the show.

and, question: we bought reserved seating tickets, thinking that this would get us closest to the stage. obviously, we were stupid.

anyone have any suggestions? i wanna get as close to the stage as possible. can i sneak down to general admission seating, or exchange tickets at the door?

Once you get in, you should be able to sneak down. Just don't try to get within the first three rows, as they might ask to see your ticket if they see you walking down.

I'll be there. I've got reserved seating, which is actually good, because my last class doesn't get out until 6:00. What a way to start my summer!
