Alright it is very late at night and I am still running off the adrenaline rush I get from concerts so I thought I would post here since I have a set list and some stories! Okay were to start...Rogue Wave, I loved them as an opened I thought they were a perfect lead into for death can and I was very impressed. I also liked that as a band they came back on after there set was done to quickly help clear there things off of the stage, I have a lot of respect for that. I also ran into them afterwards and got a picture, they were pretty cool dudes.
On to Death Cab, I think this concert had it ups and downs...from the sound of it they were just coming off of two really big concerts and parts of this one might have been lagging. But I still loved it of course! It was all assigned seating so everyone was sitting down when the show started, but Ben made everyone get up for the concert. I wasn't that close up, but I still had a good view of everything and got to watch them collectively this time around instead of look at them each individually from being too close, so I liked that. Through out the concert Ben kept giving updates on the Red Wings Hockey game because he promised his cousin who lives there that if he came he would announce the score on stage. Set List Bixby New Year Why You'd Want to Live Here Photobooth Crooked Teeth Long Divison Grapevine Fires A Movie Script Ending Company Calls Company Calls Epilogue Soul Meets Body IWFYITD IWPYH Cath... We Laugh Indoors Sounds of Settling Marching Bands ---------------- Talking Bird T+R 405 Your Heart is and Empty Room Trans I was a little disappointed that they didn't play 'Your Bruise' or 'Styrofoam Plates' and that there idea of an 'oldie' song was 405, which they play a lot. But I still got to here some different songs this time around and it made me very happy! Then after the concert was over my friends and I hung around by the buses with a few other people waiting for the band to come out. First came Nick and I had a little conversation with him that went along these lines... Me: I have a question I have to ask you, Do you have a Zombie plan? Nick: Yeah, of course! Theres some good ideas in *thinks* Me: The Zombie Survival Guide? Nick: No, World War Z. Although the Survival Guide does have the idea of using a long pole for distance. *As a side note those books are both by the same person.* Any way I got a picture with him and he made me smile, he was a great person who was very talkative. Then Chris came out and I got a picture with him and he signed my ticket, we really didn't talk but it was still awesome! My friends wanted to get a picture with Ben, but by Midnight he had never come out and we have to head home. Also I was pretty sure that while Chris was out by us I saw Ben sneak around the back of the bus and on to it, Jason did the same thing. All in all it was another great concert of course and another memorable night. Later on I will be posting some pictures in the sights and sounds thread, but now it is sleep time. |

You're kind of my hero for asking him that question of all questions. ;D

Haha... comparing that setlists to recent setlists it's actually pretty good. You got CP Epilogue too. ... and my three favourite Photo Album tracks atm.

I'm loving how there are playing Epilogue consistently now. I'm hating that they did it AFTER Red Rocks. Haha
