S'up. Anyone going?

I got my tickets today, should be a good gig. I saw them in Manchester in July, and apart from a very large amount looking like they'd never heard a single Death Cab song pre-Plans, it was a pretty good setlist, with 3 songs from We Have the Facts...

So if anyone's going to this gig, or any of the UK/Ireland gigs this autumn discuss it here guys.

I'll be there, got my ticket yesterday.

I saw them in Manchester too. Aside from the annoying people in front of me, saying "oh, I know this song" (Plans-onwards as you say) and chatting through the ones they didn't, it was an amazing set. I was really impressed with Styrofoam also.

Looking forward to November.

Yup, they seem to play 6/7 songs off Narrow Stairs, and 5 from Plans...hopefully they will smash out some earlier tunes this tour. A couple of songs from Airplanes would be nice too.

Also the UK support is Frightened Rabbit! This is good news Smiler

I think I'm going to Sheffield on the train. I wanted to do Belfast or Edinburgh but Mrs Mc is rightly saying Sheffield makes more sense.

She is possibly the best wife in th world and is unremittingly supportive. She was a big DCFC fan, likes them still, but they were her #1 band for a very long time too. She helped me arrange their first Manchester show, and we have a shared passion in hoping they get as big as they can possibly be.

Put it this way, how many partners do you know would
a) Let you disappear 400 miles during the middle of a family holiday in Yorkshire to travel to London just in case you missed the only UK shows DCFC might ever play.
b) Arrange a trip for you, without them, half way around the world for your 40th birthday to see them on their home turf
c) Move the kids into our room for the night to let a bunch of Americans crash at your house?
