I did get a setlist, but gave it to this other girl, as she was so eager to get it. (Though I got ben's freaking guitar pick, which left me absolutely speechless). I do know though, that they also played Photobooth, Cath, No Sunlight and Long Division.

Did they read our complaints or something?
Wow.

And Brothers On a Hotel Bed...that's what I was talking about. Slow songs like that are really beneficial to the variety of the show, and do just the opposite of what I'm sure they think it does--it actually KEEPS people interested in a mass of upbeat songs.

I am sick of feeling sick and not throwing up. It's in my stomach and you seem to be stuck. And it won't work its way through my gut. Just go away.

Songs like Brothers On a Hotel Bed, Passenger Seat, Different Names, etc. are really nice to add to the set. I can't put into to words how amazing Passenger Seat/Different Names is as an opener, they should bring it back. Saw them do it twice and it's just perfect.

My advice for them is to take out some of the singles from Transatlanticism/Plans (Crooked Teeth, I Will Follow..., New Year, Sound of Settling, Soul Meets Body) from some sets, along with the usual Facts songs (Company Calls, Epilogue). They need to switch it up almost every night.

totally agree, I don't want them to end up like some of my favorite older rockers, playing the same set every night,

as a matter of fact brian, I never knew they opened with passenger seat, and I am in total agreement, what an opener. For them to come out and strike those first chords, wow.

it's great. just Chris and Ben up on the stage for a few minutes, and then they do a really grea transition into Different Names and it just builds and builds and builds.

Argh, and he handed that one right to you too (I think, the last setlist on the audience left?). Lucky!

So what was the special surprise they were hyping for this pair of shows? I don't think they played a longer than usual set, and they weren't doing too much out of the ordinary in terms of songs...
