lookin good. I'm still crossing my fingers for "title track". Seein them tomorrow at the tower, i'm so excited

What a great night Toronto was... first of all Ra Ra Riot was a huge surprise, not that i didn't expect them to be good, they were just beyond amazing. For a new band, especially one with such a unique setup (for an indie band), they were incredibly tight and played with tons of energy and confidence. Every single one of them just come off as instantly likeable people, and their songs also have this immediately appealing factor that every good pop song should have. Great stuff.

The death cab set, well, it was great. I got songs that i wanted to see, ones i didn't get the last time around (in Berlin) and of course Fake Frowns and Expo '86 were great surprises. They played really well, and Ben and Chris were in a good mood and pretty chatty (which is always missing in Europe), cracking Twitter jokes and the like... as far as the new EP tracks... well My Mirror Speaks actually worked pretty well as a mid-set filler but Little Bribes didn't really get any better than the recorded version live and a Diamond and a Tether remains a slow bore. It's definitely not encore material. And where is Loyal Lover? Are they scared they wont be able to pull off all the sounds live?

Oh, and opening with I Will Follow... and going into back material really worked very nicely. Good job death cab!

I would much rather hear Loyal Lover than Diamond and a Tether. I am crossing my fingers that they figure out how to do it live!

On a side note, I actually got the RaRaRiot album and I am liking it quite a lot. Looking forward to seeing them!

show was great! brian, i was so glad about that ha. I wasn't feeling ra ra riot ss much as i thought i might have. I think the sound felt muddy for them and I couldn't really understand their singer at all. Cold War Kids impressed me so much, I'll definitely be seeing them again. Death cab were great once again, and i loved the open door songs. Awesome show

Hey hey, long-time listener, first-time poster. This was my 4th DCFC show and one of the better ones... A bit too short but solid set with some nice rarities... Check that opener! (Clemson, SC from a couple years back is still the one to beat, if you're curious...)

ANYWAY... I might've switched a couple songs, so feel free to correct. Also a footnote: Ben accidentally extended the first chorus of "Movie Script Ending" and COMPLETELY screwed up the rest of the band. The song came to a halt as he said, "Sorry, I wasn't paying attention..." Then they kicked back into Verse 2. A rare flub... Kinda endearing!

I agree it was a great show. Thanks for keeping track of the set. Not an easy thing to do when you're squashed like a sardine on the floor (the show was general admission in a gymnasium). Fake Frowns was epic. I'm curious why you thought the Clemson show from 2006 is the one to beat? I was at the show too.

Ra Ra Riot were good. Can't say anything positive on Cold War Kids though. Just seemed like the put the crowd to sleep at some points during their set.

Agreed, Cold War Kids' time would've been better spent on more RRR and DCFC.

For Clemson we had a great spot (right down front on Chris' side) and the set was longer. Can't remember the exact setlist but just great energy throughout and it seemed like they played everything I wanted to hear.

Last night we skipped the floor in favor of the bleachers on the far end of Ben's side. Nice vantage point and I enjoyed the lack of sardine conditions.
