Hey guys!

I'm kinda new here, so first of all, hi to all of you. I'm going to my first Death Cab show tomorrow @ the Crossing Border Festival in the Hague and as I'm collecting singed 7" records from indie bands I was wondering if there are any chances of letting them sign one of my records? Anyone had them sign something at a gig?

I'm really excited about it, can't wait!

It will probably be difficult to get an autograph...but you never know.

No chance mate. Ben stole my pen and my sandwich when I asked for a signed photograph. Proper upsetting. Don't ask, the man has a giant ego, I thought he'd be a soft lad, but he ain't, got a proper temper on him.

Jim - we've heard lots of comments about Ben's interaction with fans over the years. While it's been reported he tends to prefer a quick trip to the bus instead of hanging with fans, never has he been described as a thief. There gotta be more to the story.

I have a ticket stub signed by all the guys, but that's the only time I met them out of the five times I've seen them. (Granted two of them were before I realized that you could meet bands after shows). It definitely doesn't hurt to try

After a show in Malmö, Sweden 2006, me and a friend talked with Jason and Nick (while he was takin a smoke) for 10 minutes or so. Very decent guys, especielly Nick, who were very pleasant.

i remember a couple of shows back i was waiting in line like 4 hours before the show, only maybe 10 of us in line, and all of them walked by us one by one at different times. I took pics with all of them. But when Ben walked by talking on his phone he just said hi waved and kept walking.
There was maybe 11 of us there, i thought he could have took 5 mins and took pics with us since we were willing to wait 5 hours in line but whatever

So, a lot of chance at my first show in Paris!!! We were near the tourbus after the show. Not really waiting for some contacts. And we saw Ben and asked him to take a photo with him and he accepted very kindly...

But yesterday at The Crossing Border, we didn't see anyone of the band after the show... Just the fly cases...

Well, no luck here either. When they finished playing I tried to give a pen and a copy of Field Manual to Chris to sign it, but he waved at me and went backstage..

Ow well, better luck next time I guess. I did Ra Ra Riot to sign my cd though, also had a nice chat with them.
