What a difference a year makes!! The SDSU show last year was sub par. The lads seemed happy, energy was way up. Opened with 405 which was great to hear live. Set weighed in at about 90 minutes, will try to get the set list written tomorrow, still buzzing from the energy of the band. Could we please have less from narrow stairs. Please. It kills the momentum.

On another note, Cold War Kids, who were described in another thread as boring and sleep inducing? Bollocks. Absolutely amazing. Wish that they had played longer. We used to vacation live is jaw dropping.

Thats it for now. If anyone else was there let me know

Cheers

This was a fun show! Some of my favorite songs aren't on the new album, so I was very pleased with the assortment.
Opening bands were just fine. I didn't know their music, but I wasn't bored.

I was there.. an amazing show! I agree about the energy they had, super fun show! The crowd was very mellow but into it, from where I was at least (middle/back of pit). They seemed to be enjoying themselves too.. from what I could tell, being a fan and not one of them haha. Cold War Kids were really great too! They had an improvised sound to their set.. some songs were slowed down, some had altered guitar parts.. really well done.

Don't remember the order but here are the songs they played. Maybe someone else can help me out with the order?

405
The New Year
Photobooth
Fake Frowns
Sound of Settling
We Laugh Indoors
Long Division
No Sunlight
Grapevine Fires
I Will Follow You Into The Dark
Summer Skin
Cath...
I Will Possess Your Heart
My Mirror Speaks
Your Heart Is An Empty Room
Crooked Teeth
Bixby Canyon Bridge

Encore:
A Diamond and a Tether
Soul Meets Body
Transatlanticism

Someone correct me if I got something wrong.. To everyone that gets to see them the rest of the tour... I am sooo jealous, they were amazing and you will enjoy
