I'm seeing the boys play tonight. I made the mistake of getting GA tickets. I hate GA because there is always one jackass who has to push, mosh or slam into everyone. What's it been like at the previous stops?

I'm hoping to get right to the front, so I don't have to worry about the others.

Cheers!

wasn't like that in Ottawa.

Although some 14 year old girls at one point where on the phone during their set and screamed out 'I CAN'T HEAR YOU I'M IN A MOSH PIT!'

Oh God. I have a feeling I'm going to end up having to elbow or tell 14 year-olds to shut up! Lovely.

Whatever happened to parents going to concerts with their children? I wasn't allowed to go to a concert by myself until I was 17.

Cheers!

I no longer will attend AA shows unless I REALLY wish to see the band because I simply cannot stand drunken 16 year olds. I say this now, but I was totally one of those kids.

sometimes parents are worse then the kids, at a dcfc show in reno a photographer for a paper was trying to take photos and this guy was being a complete ass. He kept on putting his hand in front of her camera and making loud noises and saythings to here. and he was the dad

I'm proposing a swift and orderly change

I bought pit tickets to the show I'm attending in June because I want to be close to the band.

I'm fifteen and I will NOT mosh. Moshing scares the heck out of me. I don't want to get shoved on the floor and I don't want my friends to get shoved either. I figured it's not a huge problem at death cab shows though. =)

and I hope
you have
more luck with this than me.

that's the thing at death cab shows i don't feel the need to get violent... i just go in the pit to groove... they should sell groove pit tickets instead of mosh pit tickets for DCFC shows.

here i rest, where dissappointment and regret...collide.

I went to see Mika Miko and No Age last year in a tiny club - well it was a room. Some Eastern European punks came in when the heard the noise. Next minute they were moshing whilst the ulta cool Manchester inteligencia - like myslf - were stroking our inmaginary beards. Anywhoo. they got too close to me and I pushed them away, but they came crashing back and knocked me flying over some chairs onto a table and then the floor.

They weren't too bothered, but then looked down at me and looked at me as if I was their elderly grandparent and rushed to pick me up and dust me down.

So, the moral(s) of this story are A. mosh while you still can without breaking a hip and B. Eastern European punks have been brought up correctly to respect their elders.

haha, I'm 13 and I've been going to concerts for years. I went to a The Sword concert and was in a massive mosh pit and got beer spilled all over me. Then some drunk guy broke a glass right at my feet. I thought it was fun Smiler

I didn't think there'd be a mosh pit at a Death Cab concert. But anyway, I'll always "have a good time" by doing some jumping and singing along to the songs- and I'm sure that bothers some people but I didn't think it was obnoxious.
