I don't think it is a joke, pollstar tends to be pretty legit. No news on opening bands yet. I bet we will get a full tour announcement in the next week or two and then presale early in march.

Tickets go on sale in three days for Eugene, so I don't think there will be much of a presale, lol.

I wouldn't count on them actually going on sale on friday. If you can get them then you got a sweet deal. The same thing happened before bens tour last year. Emo's posted him and everyone went nutrageous and they had all the venues take down the dates so they could make a formal announcement. I expect it in the next week or so.

Hm...it's on TicketsWest already too, but I suppose you could be right. I'll just keep an eye on it.

You could be right, like i said try to snag them on the day they go on sale, maybe you will get lucky. I don't think the cave singers are going to support for the tour, most of the venues they are playing are incredibly small and tickets are only 8 bux.

Atlantic Records has listed those dates (along with Coachella and Bonnaroo) on their official website, but no other dates are listed. Also, the list says that the NV show at the Joint is on the 23rd, but I'm guessing that's a mistake considering they already have a CA show at the Fillmore that day.

I'd assume that coachella would split a full us tour. I figure that Bonnaroo will come at the end in June. Does anyone know how many dates the last tour did? I know bands usually like to not be on the road when the record drops (usually because of tv performances and etc. So I suppose since they start tour only a few weeks in advance that they will be in NYC in or around May 10th Doing Letterman or something.

then theyll do some euro festivals in august, and do a tour here.

Omfg.. this means that they are touring the US through pril, possibly may and the start of june as well (which is the span between Coachella and Bonaroo). Which means i might have a shot at them going to europe in time for Roskilde!!!

AND ROSKILDE HAVE ALREADY ANNOUNCED MY BLOODY VALENTINE, RADIOHEAD, BAND OF HORSES AND BATTLES!!!
