Great performance yesterday!! During the preceeding bands (Vampire Weekend and N.E.R.D.) Jason was hanging around the stage left area talking to crew guys and hanging out. All the bands were about a 1/2 hour late, so Death Cab came on around 6:45 and played until about 7:30. It seemed like there were lots of sound issues on stage...Jason and Nick seemed especially pissed off. Ben was having some trouble with his "loosey goosey" mic stand, but was in good spirits throughout the show. And Chris was Chris! The set list taped to the side of Nick's amp had 10 songs, and one was added in last minute (Why You'd Want to Live Here). I'm not 100% sure about this order, but this is what was played.

SET LIST:
1. Bixby Canyon Bridge
2. The New Year
3. Why You'd Want to Live Here
4. Crooked Teeth
5. Long Division
6. Title and Registration
7. I Will Possess Your Heart
8. Cath
9. Soul Meets Body
10. Sound of Settling
11. Transatlanticism

really? only 45 minutes of death cab? I'm glad I made the right choice in not going.

But James, you could've seen Coldplay AND Vampire Weekend! Wink

edit: More pics at Stereogum. That actually looks like a pretty good line up.

I've seen coldplay before, as overplayed and huge as they are, they're a good band. I usually grab their music before release date so I can hear the album without going insane. Again people make fun of vampire weekend, but for about 2 weeks that album was entertaining, now they're played out too. Jay-z would have been fun to see though.
