It looks like they put together the two setlist that they had recently been using which was awesome because I was sure that I wouldn't be seeing 405 and Brothers on a Hotel Bed together in the same show. Ted Leo only played 4 songs and then stormed off stage because he broke a string. They played 20 minutes and then DCFC started to set up. This took about 35 minutes but they were awesome. This was my third time seeing them and loved seeing the songs I hadn't heard live before.
Also, at the arena I was the only person standing on the entire left side where the seats were. Everyone was standing and then sat down during the first song while everyone on the opposite side stood for the whole set. It was just silly. 405 Your Heart is an Empty Room The New Year Why You'd Want to Live Here Crooked Teeth Title & Registration Lightness Photobooth A Movie Script Ending Company Calls Company Calls Epilogue Brothers on a Hotel Bed Pictures in an Exhibition Soul Meets Body We Looked Like Giants Transatlanticism Encore: I'll Follow You into the Dark Marching Bands of Manhattan I'm Going Home (Sonics Cover) Sound of Settling |

yeah, for the most part. can i just say how $^#(&3& annoying it is to see them at a seated venue. everyone stood the whole time in atl. and made it impossible to see. --------------------------------- Traffic lights blink at you in the evening, you tilt your head and turn into the sun... |

The floor in the center was open with no seats and everyone stood. But there was seating on the sides and it was pathetic. I eventually went to the floor and sang and danced.
Also, during Transatlantacism all I could hear were people behind me screaming and laughing about something with each other. =/ |

I was pumped for Ted Leo to play. After the second song Ted broke a string and said "we're only playing one more, i dont know where my backup guitar is, dcfc is up next." He got about halfway in and hit himself with the mic a few times in the head. His head was kinda bloody from it.A guitar was brought out to him about halfway through the song, then at the end of the song he smashed it up and said sorry for the tantrum and left.
It seems like the audience didn't even know Ted Leo was playing, there was a lot of people asking who he was. I guess a couple months ago, they stopped advertising DCFC/TL-RX and just had DCFC on everything. When DCFC played, Ben kept pushing TL/RX stuff and not their own merch at all.I dont know if that had anything to do with why he was pissed, but meh. Death Cab was great. We Looked Like Giants was way longer than when they played here. The Sonics cover was really great too. |

That setlist is INSANE. I am so jealous of all who were at that show--that is seriously amazing... I'm going to see them 12/2 and I am praying to see Brothers on a Hotel Bed.

Yeah, that's exactly what I've been saying to myself. I can't go to a show on this tour, and all the sudden they start playing some of my favorite songs of all time - Lightness, Brothers on a Hotel Bed, Marching Bands, Pictures in an Exhibition..it's not fair! --------------------- Big fish eat the little ones. |
