Well I decided to make a discussion about the sf show at the filmore on the 18th. The show in all was decently good, nothing spectacular though. Jonathan Rice did a very good job in my opinion and had a great voice. David Bazaan was alright I was really blown away by his set. Except for his cover of Hallejuah. Ben did a very good job, but the crowd at this point was okay except for one 28 yr old girl. I dont know if she was drunk or just plain crazy, but her and her friend were screaming like crazy during parts when Ben was singing. They were clapping to why you'd want to live here and were completly out of rythm to the song. They also tried to do the ba ba ba's in we will become silhouttes. She also kept on screaming for sound of settling but kept on saying it sounds of settling. The worse part though is her friends tried to make people move out of the way for her during sound of settling and no one would move for her. So she started to cry and riped off her shirt like the hulk. It was the worst person in a crowd that I have ever seen.Oh and Jenny Lewis was there also!!!

The setlist I dont remember 100 percent but these are the ones I remember.

To sing for you (Donovan cover)
Brand New Colony
photobooth
why you'd want to live here
Title and registration
we will become Silhouttes
crooked teeth
Passenger seat
Soul Meets Body
you remind me of home
a cover of a band that I think their name was camper lagoon not really sure though
Recycled Air
I will Follow you into the dark

Encore
Harvest Moon (Neil young cover)
All Apologies
Sound of Settling
Nothing Better (with jenny lewis)
Such great heights (with jenny, david, and some strange guy)

That was all the songs I believe actually the order might not be right though.

I'm proposing a swift and orderly change

could this "strange guy" have been Jimmy Tamborello?

i badly wanted to go to this show, but my parents wouldn't let me get tickets because my grades were "low". i guess i'm a bit relieved that i didn't have to see that girl though. that would have driven me crazy.
