yeah theyve been playing for about an hour and 40mins ish. Im also going to the brixton show. Went to the bham show last night aswell and it was immence. They mostly play stuff from narrow stairs (obviously) a lil from plans. a lil from trans' a couple from photo album and a few real oldies for the hardcore
Also just so everybody knows the victoria line is shut tommorow night you have to get a replacement bus into centeral london Kinda annoying. They will close with transatlanticism so i might head towards the back during that so I can hop on a bus quickly. |

Just thought i'd post on here as I made it back after the Brixton gig..despite the tube services being royally fucked.
anyways a fantastic gig. i didn't take down the setlist but i'm sure somebody on here will have, all i know is it was very long and more spread out over albums than i expected. Highlights were hearing company calls followed by epilogue, ben jumping off the stage down the crowd barrier with the mic to sing majority of title and registration down there and your bruise being (i believe) the start of the encore. i GENUINELY didn't expect that. best surprise. over all so so impressed, never let down. |

Made it back from the brixton gig. It was awesome! Got there about 5.15 and was happy to see that there were only about 20 people in front of me in the queue. About 5.30 Nick came out to say hello which was a brilliant surprise. I got to the front directly in line with Ben Gibbard by the time the concert started. The highlight was definitely title and registration as I got to touch Ben Gibbard and he sang the chorus about a metre away from me! They played for so long as well with a great selection of songs. Styrofoam were awesome too. Here's the setlist.

this was an amazing gig! I couldnt believe they played twin sized bed and tiny vessels and dont forget Styrofoam plates. Made my day!
Thats pretty lame. Nick must have gone back in not long before i arrived then. because i got there about 5.45 - 6 ish. I was originally on the barrier but I let some peoples have my spot. and then i went to meet my friends in the middle. Was immence though. Cant wait until they tour again. |

Wow, that looks like a perfect setlist... if only they played Title Track.

as im a grumpy person i thought id take a few negatives from the performance to tell you all about!
firstly, no talking bird! gutted i didnt feel a great deal of band cohesion on stage chris seems so isolated their chat is just non existant they have the potential to get some good audience participation but never realise it. your new twin sized bed was really poor i thought, such a lack of energy in a good song. epilogue was awesome, so glad ive seen my favourite song live. i wish people at death cab gigs would dance! even if they dont wanna chat, at least introduce a few songs. why on earth didnt ben do couches in alleys with styrofoam!?!? gutted. i loved the concert of course This message has been edited. yeah i agree with you there, no one really dances
and they dont really talk to the crowd, and if they did introduce some songs then then people would get to know the older songs abit more. Styrofoam where a lot more into it then the bham show i noticed. Woodlebelt was you down the front on the left btw with your girlfriend? |
