Hi,
I was just wondering if someone on this board will go and see them next Sunday, so that he/she'll be able to share his/her thoughts about the new songs they will surely played Smiler.

I will.

I'll try and write down the set, too. I'm excited.

Okay.

I don't know the order of the setlist, sorry. I forgot to write it down since the girl next to me was being obnoxious and kept swinging her hair into my face/mouth. I was too consumed with pushing her and being angry.

Anyway...they played

I Was A Kaleidoscope
The Sound of Settling
The New Year
Lightness
Title And Registration
Expo '86
Tiny Vessels
Company Calls
Styrofoam Plates (i'm 99.9% sure)
We Laugh Indoors
Soul Meets Body
That other new song...I know its title...i want to say it's Crooked Teeth. But I really don't remember. Sorry!

They played an encore...two songs. One was Transatlanticism and the other might've been The Sound of Settling, but I'm pretty sure it was a different song.

Okay, so that's not the exact order of the set but those songs were played...sorry for my crappy memory. :/ And if I forgot any songs, i'm sorry.

oh me, oh my!

i can't really recall the first of the encore but transatlantcism was awesom... hell the whole show rocked Big Grin

Yeah, they did play Styrofoam Plates.
The Sound of Settling was their last 'set' song, Tiny Vessels was the first part of the encore.

Where was everyone in the crowd?
I was about three people back, pretty much right in front of Ben.

Oh, and Crooked Teeth is a bit faster and louder than Soul Meets Body. I don't quite know what else to tell you.

It could be my lack of memory, but I want to say it reminded me of Company Calls..?
hm.

i was there last night. ended up being about 2nd row near some really fun girls and what not.

it was my first time seeing dcfc - and i was utterly shocked. after waiting 3 years for this moment...it was everything i had hoped for and more. All I can say is...Styrofoam Plates is the greatest song I have ever heard live.

I was near where Chris was on the stage. I was near that girl in the yellow homemade Lollapalooza shirt who started crying when the bass player from Spoon waved or something and got to meet the band because a security guard pulled her out.

oh me, oh my!

ha, no, it's an OKGo song.

But to be honest, I haven't heard it for over a year, they didn't play it at Lolla and it got lost with my old computer - I just like the title.
