This is going to be amazing. Death Cab will be there. And Built to Spill. Flight of the Conchords. The list goes on. This is so good, that my dear sweet mother wants me to go up. I think I just may.

My only trouble would be getting from the airport to George. Morgan, how far is it from Seattle? And is there any way I could get there by train? Or bus? or something?

That's like the best festival lineup I've ever seen. My god, I want to fly to Seattle right now to see that.

It's a good drive. I think 2-3 hours. It's pretty remote also, there's no real way to get there besides driving.
I am psyched! I've been waiting for this for awhile. It did not disappoint. The only personal problem I have is that I've seen a lot of the bands already, but no complaints! I'm super psyched for the Cure and Flaming Lips. I'm trying to stay two nights, preferably REM and the Cure's nights. I got to start trying to arrange stuff with my friends now.

Yeah despite receiving permission and my insane desire to be there, it's beginning to look unrealistic. Especially as far as transportation goes.

I'm not for sure how I'm getting there but I'm pretty sure we could give you a ride if that's the biggest problem. It is a big thing to hop a few states for a festival but I think it'd be really cool if you could go. We could almost definitely give you a ride.

Thanks Morgan. I'll talk to my mom about it, and to be honest I don't think she'll be too alarmed considering she still thinks you're the nicest kid in the world for that KEXP thing. I'll let you know, but either way thanks for that offer.

Just one of the reasons that Washington State is the greatest State in the US of A. The lineup is killer. Does anyone know the breakdown of the days?

So glad I live in the northwest.
I am defiantly going. Don't we have that the 26th, monday, off?

Its an 8 hour drive from Eugene.

Whoever is already planning on going, are you staying there for all 3? Just going for one day and night or what?

I'm planning on going. Probably at least for the DCFC day. Usually they post what days every band is playing. After that I will make a decision as to what days I'm going to. I just don't care for the camping at the gorge.

I'm actually thinking about taking the plunge and going all 3 days. EEK! I just can't choose days! The Death Cab/Cure day is probably my least favorite day actually, but I don't want to miss them or Rogue Wave, and it'd be too difficult to go Saturday/Monday.

I took the plunge. I think they spread a lot of the bands out so I had to go all three days. Rogue Wave is a must. Modest Mouse. FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS! This will be the first time I'll be going all 3 days.
