Long time listener, first time message board joiner. I'm happy to admit this will be my first DCFC concert. It's actually the first non-Dave Matthews Band concert I will have gone to in over 10 years.
I wouldn't even had found out about the concert had it not been for a myspace ad that generated automatically based on words in my profile.
I have listened to all their albums although I wouldn't be able to sing along with more than a handful of songs (Postal Service, on the other hand, I know pretty well - listened to them before I found out about Death Cab).
Anyways, just wanted to stop by and say hi and start a thread for other Indy concert goers.

Yeah. The set up looks kind of strange with the lawn on the sides. I've never been to a concert over there, have you?

i'll be attending this show too, but i've never been to this venue before. it looks like a pretty nice place with a good location on the river though.

well I'm from Kentucky, so i haven't been to a concert in indy before but now i have tickets to this one and the radiohead concert thats in indy also. im soo excited for both! are you all getting up there early? if so how early?

Where in Kentucky? I just moved from Lexington 3 months ago. I like to arrive at concerts a few hours early to enjoy some pre-event beverages. Although I'm not sure if that's allowed at White River. I guess if the concert's at 7:30, I'm going to try to get there around 4.

i am from Louisville Kentucky. i think i am definitely going to get there early, i am just trying to figure out how early.

i'll probably show up to this one a little bit early since i'm unfamiliar with the venue. i'll be driving up to indy for death cab and radiohead this summer too. good to hear i'm not the only one making the trip up from louisville.

I have a couple lawn tickets. Found out about the concert when they were already out of reserved.

I've found out on another board that there's some tailgating that goes on over in the zoo parking lot for concerts. So I'll probably do that.

I think around 4:30ish.

so people will be tailgating before the show? i don't think we're going to make it until 5:30 or 6. really looking forward to it though.

I can't remember all of them. There were a couple in a row that I didn't recognize. Although I don't listen to all the albums on a regular basis so they might have been from those.

Me and my friend did some tailgating in the zoo lot. I didn't see anyone else doing it though. One time a security guy came up and told us we couldn't drink on the grounds but after he left we went back to it. He never came around again. It was a good time. I was expecting the crowd to be a little more lively - more singing along and dancing. That was a little disappointing.
