Holy God. Transatlanticism is the best closer ever. They only played a few new ones, but they played some GREAT oldies I wasn't expecting: Your Bruise, Title Track (!)...I don't know if I've heard them play Tiny Vessels either, but they nailed that one. I think it was on that one that they had Chris AND Nick on bass. Crazy.

i went. did anyone else feel like the music was really quiet? i could barely hear ben's voice and for the loud songs like bixby and new year it wasn't as big as it has been in the past. i was in the very very front of the pit and it just seemed so quiet

You've got to be kidding me. The Stairs songs sound the best live, because that's how they were written. Pretty much anything off Plans sounds like crap live because its so overproduced they can't replicate it live. I do love what they do with Marching Bands though.

Personally, I think that Plans live is awesome. I think most of those songs are really great but were ruined because all their Death Cab-esque little details were evened out due to overproduction. When played live, we get to see the songs raw and in my opinion they're much better in that state.

Yep, I agree. I never liked Different Names till I saw it live. They should really start playing that again.
